This is the 21st century and the Information Society Revolution is well on its way! The world is connected!

The Internet Community is open to all! You can share your ideas, opinions and your solidarity with all those who think like you – and even those who do not!

If you have a product you want to share or sell, what better way than to put it in display for the whole world to see? What better way to locate and keep track of those people you can offer a solution to? Remember that thousands of people join the Internet every day and millions use it in a regular basis as the main source of information.

What is Joomla!? Print E-mail
Written by bluemorpho

Joomla! No, it is not a mistake, the name is written with an exclamation mark at the end, the same as Yahoo! The name Joomla! is loosely derived from the word "Jumla" with an English spelling. Jumla in Swahili means "all together" or "as a whole". [1]

Joomla! is a CMS, that is a Content Management System. A CMS can be loosely defined as a repository of data along with a collection of software procedures that help manage it.
